THE 45's HOMEPAGE

HISTORY INTERVIEW THE 45's NOW PICTURES SCRAPBOOK GUESTBOOK

In the early 80's when bands like Johnny Pinko, The Hollywood Killers, The Heartbeats and Little Sister were plying their trade on the London Pub Circuit, one band was 'wooing' crowds at a phenominal rate. From Brighton to Brentford The 45's blended a mixture of Rock 'n' Roll, Mod, Soul and Pop with the occasional Hollies, Vandellas and Tommy Roe cover. They should have had huge hits but it wasn't to be. Read about the 45's in the first ever website dedicated to the band of the 80's and catch up with the band members.

Since the 4th June 2005 when I set this site up we have had an amazing 8000 hits! I have recently aquired some sounds so I am hoping to get them up online soon, in the meantime please don't forget to leave a message in the guestbook...and that includes you band members out there in 45's land!

P.S. Check out the brand new 45's Myspace site!
